About Me..

🤹🏼‍♀️ I'm Lou & I live near Stroud in the Cotswolds, Gloucesteshire. 

🙌 I started this website to show the things I love to make - mainly crochet and macrame. I was very fortunate to have time off from my teaching job, to be at home with my son, to re discover the crafts I'd learnt at school & learn some new ones.  Most of what I make is inspired by my travels in India and love of patterns & fabrics from the 1970's.  For more photos & an idea of the things I make - Insta.

🌱  I started running macrame workshops during Summer '21 at Tribal Hearts Festival and since have run workshops at Elderflower Fields and Into the Trees,  all really family friendly festivals.   The best thing about running these workshops is seeing people enjoy learning a new skill & then when they leave the workshop with a macrame hanging basket that sometimes they didn't believe they'd be able to make.
